My daughter Komala was studying in Visuvamadu Mahavidyalayam. She went to participate in a leadership workshop for the High school students on 10 August 2006. On the fourth day, morning, the Sri Lankan air force Kfirs attacked the Vallipunam area. The news spread that the location where the school girls were participating in the leadership workshop was attacked by the Kfir jets and many girls were killed in the attack. I was nervous and ran towards the school to
know about my daughter. None of them were at the school. My niece came and told me that my daughter was also killed by the attack. That evening her dead body was brought home by the school administration. She was severely injured in her head. Why is the international community sitting back and watching this killed? If my daughter was alive we would have been happy. Now we lost everything.
