My Akka (sister) was following her GCE Advance level at Visuvamadu Mahavidyalayam. She went to attend a leadership
training workshop with her friends. On 14 August 2006, the Sri Lankan Kfir jets attacked the Vallipunam Senchcholai complex. It was about 9.00am, I came to know that the location, where my sister was attending the workshop was the target of the Kfir attack. Immediately my father who was working in our garden went to find out about my sister. It was 11.00am when he returned home and said she was killed with many other girls. That evening at about 4.00pm they brought her dead body home. She was badly injured in her neck and her leg. I can’t see my Akka anymore. I can’t talk to her anymore.
